Comincia l’anno leggendo un libro di avventura dal sapore vintage, facendoti affascinare dalle prodezze e i modi rudi ma seducenti di Dirk Pitt, protagonista maschile del romanzo scritto nel 1984 da Clive Cussler dal titolo originale Deep Six ( in Italiano Missione Eagle).

Un libro di avventura ambientato in piena guerra fredda.  Descrive il rapimento del Presidente degli Stati Uniti eseguito dalla mafia coreana assoldata dai russi, al fine di eseguire un esperimento pilota: un trapianto di memoria.  Riescono ad inserire una microtrasmittente con una nuova memoria e con cui si possano inculcare idee politiche pilotate.

Nel frattempo nel mare dell’Alaska un relitto che trasportava un carico di gas nervino provoca morti per chiunque si avvicini. Entra in scena Dirk Pitt, capo dei progetti speciali della NUMA, che individua ed in seguito svuota il relitto dal carico pericoloso, dando l’avvio alla risoluzione dell’intricato e molto ben congegnato piano della mafia coreana.

 Dirk Pitt abita in un appartamento ricavato in un hangar per cui vedrei adatto questo letto ‘fluttuante’ di Daniele Lago, dal design essenziale e stupefacente. Il letto è sospeso su un’unica gamba regolabile in altezza, per cui non ci sono spigoli, consente di fare  pulizie in maniera semplice ed agevolata, ha il pianale areato e la testiera personalizzabile. 

Anche da solo in una stanza diventa il protagonista assoluto dello spazio, dormirci sembrerà fluttuare nel mondo parallelo dei sogni.

Meanwhile in the sea of Alaska a wreck carrying a cargo of nerve gas causes deaths for anyone who approaches. Dirk Pitt enters the scene, head of special projects of NUMA, which identifies and then empties the wreck from dangerous cargo, marking the start of the resolution of the intricate and very well thought out plan of the Korean mafia.
  Dirk Pitt lives in an apartment located in a hangar that would see fit this bed 'floating' Daniele Lago, essential design and amazing. The bed is suspended on a single leg adjustable in height, for which there are no sharp edges, enables to make cleaning in a simple and facilitated, has the ventilated floor and the headboard customizable.

Even alone in a room becomes the protagonist of the space, sleep seems to float in the parallel world of dreams.
